Dama Dama Damaru Bhajavey Shankara
O Lord Shankara, beat the Damaru (drum) dama, dama. O Mahadeva, who is easy-to-please, You are the consort of Gowri (Parvathi), always granting auspiciousness, whose throat is blue (due to Haalaa-hala poison), the one who holds Ganga in His matted locked hair, the Lord of animals. Blessed devotees will free from fear who takes refuge in Him. Chant the mantra "Om Namah Shivaya".
In Raag Miyan ki Todi, the note P is generally skipped in the ascending notes and rendered as S R G M D N S.
