Salutations to Lord Ganesha, who bears a curved tusk, and is the remover of all obstacles. He grants intellect and humility. His smile enchants all devotees. He worships the Shiva Linga (representation of the universal divinity). His large stomach symbolizes the repository of all knowledge. He is the dear son of Mother Parvathi. He wrote the holy scriptures, as dictated by sage Vyaasa, using one of His own tusks as a pencil.
